This will lead up Maerway Lane into Maer Hills. There is grass by the side of the road, but the road is very fast and extra care should be taken.
The walk is a 2.3 mile long round the hills, but it can also link into Maer which is a 6 mile walk.
Further walks can take you into Ashley and Loggerheads, these can be found on Newcastle Way on most walking websites.
